Tower Testing

Today was the big day of tower testing. Although some groups had more success than other, most towers did quite well! The towers had to hold two golf balls and stand up to our prairie windstorm. Great Job Guys!!

Marshmallow Towers!

Last week students were building marshmallow tower. The towers had to be free standing and reach 3 feet. They also had to hold two golf balls at that height. Below are some pictures of these towers at various stages of building.

One of our first projects of the year was catapult building. Students did and great job creating their catapults. Once completed they were able to make some modifications as you can see below. Some of our catapults could shoot erasers over 30 feet, I am glad this project was sent home. Great Job Guys!
